Key Biscayne Lighthouse Biscayne Bay is like another world apart from Miami. Once you cross Rickenbacker Causeway onto Virginia Key then on to the island of Key Biscayne you are in a tropical setting free from the stress of the mainland. Peace and quiet beautiful white sandy beaches and if you like downtown Miami and South Beach are only minutes away. Miami International airport is only fifteen minutes away.

Ft. Lauderdale Fishery

Lauderdale Fisheries Inshore fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Jacks and others takes place in the canals behind all of these beautiful homes. Farther up the New River that runs through downtown Fort Lauderdale, more homes and more Megayachts. The water becomes brackish and there are Bass, Oscars, Tilapias and even a few Peacock Bass.

Directions to Biscayne Bay

From the North (Fort Lauderdale Airport):

Take I95 South all the way to Exit #1a - Rickenbacker Causeway, Key Biscayne.

Go through the first traffic light and follow the road as it curves to the left.

Ahead through two more traffic lights you will see the entrance toll booth for Key Biscayne.

Pay $1.00 toll and follow the Rickenbacker Causeway approximately six miles to Crandon Marina and Boat ramp on the right.
