Inshore fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Jacks and others takes place in the canals behind all of these beautiful homes. Farther up the New River that runs through downtown Fort Lauderdale, more homes and more Megayachts. The water becomes brackish and there are Bass, Oscars, Tilapias and even a few Peacock Bass.

Just 1 to 3 miles offshore Sailfish, Dolphin, Kingfish, Amberjack, Wahoo and Tuna. Wrecks and Artificial Reefs abound in the area along with running along the beaches looking for Cobia, Tarpon and Sharks.
