Key Biscayne LighthouseBiscayne Bay is like another world apart from Miami. Once you cross Rickenbacker Causeway onto Virginia Key then on to the island of Key Biscayne you are in a tropical setting free from the stress of the mainland. Peace and quiet beautiful white sandy beaches and if you like downtown Miami and South Beach are only minutes away. Miami International airport is only fifteen minutes away.

Most importantly fishing is five minutes away. Yes some of the best Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit and Sailfish found anywhere is right here within easy reach, even if you are not staying in Miami or on Key Biscayne. Crandon marina on Key Biscayne is an easy drive from Fort Lauderdale or Palm Beach, I-95 south to exit 1a, you are there. The boat departs from Crandon Marina on Key Biscayne.

Biscayne Bay is divided north, central and south, overall thirty miles long and 12 miles wide. North Bay is inshore fishing protected by Miami Beach on the East and mainland Miami on the West. Tarpon, Trout, Ladyfish, Jacks, Snapper and Snook are the main species here.

Central Biscayne Bay from the dock at Crandon Marina south to the Ragged Keys abounds with opportunities Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Barracuda, Big Sharks, Mackerel, Pompano, Bluefish, Snapper well you get the idea, lots to fish for. With all of this in CALM (even when to wind blows!) Clear shallow water from 1' to 10' deep, like

I said before another world here in South Florida. There are even houses on stilts a community known as Stiltsville with Miami and Keyskip-and-big-premit-south-biscayne-bay-sm Biscayne in the back ground the view is spectacular. Did I mention the fishing?

South Biscayne Bay is more of the same a 20+ minute boat ride from the dock with barrier Islands like Boca Chita, Sands Key, Elliott Key and Key Largo. For the family islands for lunch break and clean bathrooms, yes bathroom. How is that? We are fishing in the Key Biscayne National Park, beautiful enough to be a National Park.

One of my passions is sight fishing for Bone fish, Permit, Barracudas or Sharks. One of the most challenging and rewarding ways to fish. If you like hunting you will love sight fishing. Image a 100 to 400+ pound Shark eating your bait 20 feet from the boat, very exciting! In the clear shallow waters of Biscayne Bay it all happens right in front of your eyes, up close and personable. Come enjoy the experience.

Biscayne Bay and the surrounding areas hold some of the biggest Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Spinner, Blacktip, Bull and Hammerhead Sharks in South Florida are plentiful at most times of year.

Let me know what you're looking to catch and I'll do my job and my best to place you in the right place to reel in your favorite fish!
