Offshore Fort Lauderdale and Miami are the larger Jack species. The Amberjack, Almaco, Horse-eye, Black Jack and large Jack Crevalles.

These Jacks are caught while wreck, reef, bottom fishing. They are also caught Deep-jigging wrecks and bottom structures. Also whileChris and Chrissy's Jack live-baiting for Sailfish, Jacks will attack your baits.

Running the beaches of South Florida looking for Cobia, Tarpon and Sharks you will come across large schools of big Jack Crevalles 20-30 pounds. These big Crevalle's and Amberjack are fish that will put you on your knee's crying for mother! A 30 pound Crevalle or a 50+ pound Amberjack can hurt you, not for the weak of heart

Whether Fishing inshore or offshore Miami or Biscayne Bay and Fort Lauderdale Jacks can make for a fun day.
