Derek's hammerhead sharkHere in Miami, Biscayne Bay light tackle and fly fishing for Sharks is a sight fishing spectacle. I bring the sharks to within touching distance but please don't! It is common to have several species of sharks at one time around the boat ranging in size from 20 to well over 300 pound depending on species.

The water is crystal clear and less than 10 feet deep, many times less than 4 feet deep and they are right on the surface. Many times watching them come from 200 yards or more, coming fast and hungry! Hooking your fish 10 to 30 feet away you will see everything! This is sight fishing in your face. Very exciting!

You will be fishing for the top of the line predator Sharks,

Hammerhead, Bull, Sandbar, Black tip, Spinner as well as Lemon Sharks and the smaller Black nose and Sharp nose Sharks. All very fast and some even jump!

Do I have your attention yet?

Key Biscayne, Miami, Biscayne Bay inshore, flats fishing paradise.
